An exciting development for our Bethel Environmental and Agricultural University and Training Center (BEAUTC) project in Ethiopia is the signing of a contract with Engineering Ministries International (EMI) (https://emiworld.org). EMI is currently recruiting a volunteer team of about 10 people that will comprise one or more of the following specialists — hydrologist, surveyor, construction and civil engineers, architect, agriculturalist, etc. This team of international experts will travel to Woliso, Ethiopia, along with members of our North American and Ethiopian project team staff. A detailed site evaluation will be conducted and, based upon this information, EMI will create a Master Plan. The goal is to have a final report by the end of 2019. This Master Plan will be very useful as we develop our BEAUTC project and for fund raising.
