The full title of this presentation to the Global Agronomy Community given by Dr. Warren Dick is Two Steps Forward and One Step Backward: Starting a Private Agricultural and Environmental University in Ethiopia. The Global Agronomy Community is a group of scientists and other interested people who are active in three related professional societies (American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, and Soil Science Society of America). The joint annual meeting of these three societies was held on November 9-13, 2020 and was virtual. This presentation outlines the current work by the Bethel Agricultural Association on the development of Bethel Environmental and Agricultural University and Training Center (BEAUTC) in Woliso, Ethiopia.
