An extension of our Bethel Agricultural Association’s program in Ethiopia has been working in the village of Chencha in southwest Ethiopia. This has included distributing seeds in a prison in Chencha which has greatly aided in growing sufficient food within the prison property to properly feed all of the prisoners. Plans are being developed to introduce irrigation to the prison so that vegetables can be grown all year. Warren was privileged to preach the Ethiopia Easter sermon in the prison church during his visit in 2023.
