On May 16, 2026 many dignitaries and government officials gathered to officially celebrate and inaugurate the opening of the BEAA analytical laboratory. After years of construction and planning, the building is completed and laboratory equipment is installed and ready for training by newly hired technicians. The chairman of the BEAA Board, Dr. Fisseha Itanna, shared his excitement and hope for the future with this milestone completed.
